WordPress 2.1

January has been a WordPress update month. The first security update was 2.06, followed by 2.07 five days later. Yesterday, a major update was released: version 2.1.

I remember back in the mid 1980’s when I first saw an Amiga. At that time I had an IBM PCjr with 16-colour graphics and 3-voice sound. I thought that was pretty impressive compared to the 4-colour graphics and beeper speaker on PC’s.

Another WordPress Update

Just 10 days after the last WordPress update, another one was released today. Version 2.07 fixes the following problems:

Security fix for wp_unregister_GLOBALS() to work around the zend_hash_del_key_or_index bug in PHP 4 versions less than 4.4.3 and PHP 5 versions less than 5.1.4 with register_globals set to “On.”
Feeds now properly serve 304 Not Modified headers instead [...]
