Moon and Sun Over North Pole
Posted by Johan Cyprich on 25 Apr 2008 | Tagged as: General, Videos
This is an amazing photo of a crescent moon taken at the north pole. I don’t have information on who took the picture, but it is outstanding and the work of a very talented photographer. There is also the possibility that it’s a computer generated image. I’ll let the pixel people figure that one out.
If you click on the photo, you can view it in its original size.

I think you are correct in suspecting doctoring on this because normally the apparent sizes of sun and moon are close to the same (visually) from the earth.
I found your site through the note you left for Jon Aquino, by the way.

I tried doing graphics like with 3-D rendering applications, but it takes a great deal of knowledge of the software to create images like that and also some artistic talent which my technical abilities hinder.
