Problems Installing the DotNetNuke StarterKit

I was trying to install the DotNetNuke StarterKit on a computer that had the Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition. All of the modules were able to get installed, except for the DotNetNuke Compiled Module which gave me the following error message.
Installation stopped because the directory for the ProjectType value did not exist. [...]
