Firefox 3 and the World Record Challenge

Firefox 3.0 is officially released and available for download through www.mozilla.com. I checked earlier today and they still had version 2.0 listed there, so there must have been problems getting the new version online. There are multiple versions of Firefox for different languages around the world and I had to scroll down the list to find the English version. Preference was not given to English speakers by placing the download option at the top of the page, but at least I got to burn 2 calories scrolling down the page. :)

This is the Firefox Download Day 2008 campaign and their goal is set a world record with the most downloads in a single day. I can’t access their web site now which isn’t surprising considering what day this is. There are currently 3.9 million downloads and the goal is 5 million.

Download Firefox 3 today and lets make history by setting a world record.
